Industria creativa
The creative industry of Turin is portrayed, encompassing various locations and activities:
- Different sites dedicated to urban art, including elements of the disused factory at Parco Dora, “Baci Urbani – Piercing” by Corrado Levi, “Donnola” by the artist ROA, the “Lovers’ Streetlights” at Parco Valentino created by the artist-gardener Rodolfo Marasciuolo, and finally a reference to the work “L’infinito negli occhi” by the artist Millo;
- The underground music culture, represented by a performer playing the guitar with a sound system behind him — a scene that has influenced young generations from the 1980s through the early 21st century;
- Small publishing realities that have found fertile ground in the city to refine typographic techniques and improve the machinery dedicated to editorial production. A testament to their presence is the Archivio Tipografico, a small space that not only collects all productions and equipment used in 20th-century printing but also continues to study and carry on the typographic tradition it has inherited.
