La memoria dei bombardamenti Torino - Aleppo

The bombing of Turin in 1942 is compared to that of Aleppo, photographed in 2016, on a poster displayed in a public space at the intersection of Via Governolo and Via Sacchi.
The poster connects the memory of the people of Turin from World War II to that of refugees from contemporary wars, exemplified by the city of Aleppo.
The temporal sequence appears reversed, but follows the reading direction of Arabic script.
The representation intends to convey a sense of welcome to refugees and empathy for their painful experience, with the hope for reconstruction.
